The Possible Dream

It never ceases to amaze me how so many people give up on their dreams prematurely. When a little trouble or hardship comes into their lives, they forget about what they really want to do in life. They forget about who they really are and throw away talent and purpose. They allow their dreams to become so small in light of their present circumstance. Dreams often go unfulfilled because people let them die. But no dream is really ever wasted. Good dreams are meant to come to pass, and most all of them do, sometimes in the most unexpected and unlikely ways.

If you believe in your dream, you have made the first step to accomplishing great things. Possibilities and opportunities exist where dreams become reality. Whatever you think in your mind, whatever you imagine, can and will happen. Few things are greater than the ability and the will to dream.

The possible dream is what you conceive in your mind and believe with your heart. Many great things are waiting to be accomplished. Possible dreams never really go away because they are meant to be. True dreams are relentless, meaning you must do something about them. It may not make sense or be easy, but if you're bold enough to dream it, it's bound to come to pass. Your dream may seem like it's taking forever to happen, but the possible dream always takes its time and comes to fruition just when you're ready and often when you least expect it.

Paulo Coelho, bestselling author of The Alchemist said, "Our dream, the desire that is in our soul, did not come out of nowhere. Someone placed it there. And that Someone, who is pure love and wants only our happiness, did so only because he also gave us the tools to realise our dreams and our desires."

Everything you see started with a dream. First it was nothing at all until it became something. Everything begins with the thought of a possibility. Your dream is a concept of possibility. Whether it comes to pass is depended upon you. You have everything you need to realize your dreams. Believe. Dream the possible dream and know that it will come true if you don't give up.
